We are already a few weeks back home from our stay in Palazzuolo Due. Louis and I want to thank you again for the beautiful family trip and the fantastic organisation!

This place is beautifully situated on the borders of Tuscany-Umbria. It has the ideal location to go to several idyllic towns and villages such as Montepulciano, Perugia, Siena, Montalcino... The hostess has made a whole collection of documentation with recommendations about the region : be sure to read it at the beginning of your stay ! But the place is also good for a chilled staycation or a relaxing day : to drink a nice wine with a view on the fields, an aperitivo on the terrace, the Avignonesi wine estate is just a stone's throw from Palazzuolo Due (just like some other wine estates such as Lunadoro); there is the swimming pool (which together with the garden makes it excellent to spend your holiday here with children). The domain consists of four entities with shared pool and is well maintained. La bella Italia can even become bellissima when you discover this gem !

Our one week stay at Palazzuolo Due took place at the beginning of August 2020. Antonietta gave us a very friendly welcome in English and showed us the spacious apartments. The house is located on top of a hill with typical Tuscan views : you are encircled by a rolling landscape with fields of grapes, sunflowers and wheat and on every hilltop there are beautiful cypresses and pine trees. The sun sets behind the next ridge against the silhouettes of the trees are a fascinating sight. In the dark you can see Montepulciano two hills further, whose lights dance in the rising heat.
We cooled down in the large swimming pool and culinary we really enjoyed the barbecue and the well-equipped kitchens.
In short : a beautiful place!

Two weeks long we really enjoyed our stay at Palazzuolo Due. Located right in the middle of that beautiful Tuscan landscape with lots of vineyards around it, a wonderful place to stay! The apartment itself is very well equipped and it is very quiet there. We recommend to take a look at the documentation maps with lots of information about the area. The max was to take a refreshing dive in the pool on hot summer days!
We will certainly come back ;-)

With all our senses we immensely enjoyed our summer holiday here. So many charming villages, the fantastic wines of Avignonesi and Banfi, the local kitchen in the restaurants, the stunning sunsets which colored the hills, the cypresses,...
When we had not already been some convinced Italophiles, than we were it now ! We have driven 1.400 km., so we have seen and tasted a lot. 
It was great staying in such a well equipped apartment. The detailled documentation, the information folders and the culinary suggestions impressed us and made our stay so much better. Many thanks !

We enjoyed your fine, very well equipped apartment, located at a fantastic place. The love for your guests can be felt in all facilities and in the extensive documentation. Our two boys loved the pool. Also the fact that we did not hav eto drive far in order to discover little villages.

We very much enjoyed our first familyholiday with our two kids in your nice apartment surrounded by a beautiful landscape, a great swimming pool and with of course very good wines. A perfect location to explore the region.
We will come back, certainly for another great meal in that restaurant Guastini.

It is a very nice and cosy apartment, quite smart, supplied with everything...  Brilliant documentation. We enjoyed the splendid scenery, the delicious food in the restaurants, the lovely villages and the beautiful cities.
